For me, love is best expressed through action. I recently acquired a left-handed GMT-Master II "Sprite". I am not a lefty, but why did I pull the trigger on this timepiece? What other iconic left-handed watches emerged from the horological world? And why was ROLEX’s release of a left-handed watch the one I anticipated most?
The Oyster, as ROLEX’s epoch-making innovation, truly deserves to be called a game changer of the last century! Yet, to mark its 100th anniversary this year, ROLEX introduced a commemorative Oyster Perpetual model in Rolesor that feels completely uninspired. To me, it is a total phoned-in effort.
